Sonoma Hillside Project

Welcome to our Sonoma Hillside Project!

Another inspired example of how the “finishing 10%” can bring a space to life. This home had a beautiful foundation, and even more beautiful views. But the interiors felt cold and generic. Goldenbird Design was brought on to infuse more personality and imagine a space that invites you to stay awhile. A sweeping oceanic limewash accent wall grounds the main living area. The finish transforms throughout the day, an echo to the Sonoma sky just beyond a sliding glass wall. Whimsical wallpaper from Lonesome Pictopia paired with vintage woods and honey rush seating makes for an eclectic, enveloping dining experience. Textural layers in earth-toned neutrals create a calming retreat in the primary bedroom, elevated further by a sculptural settee swathed in an indigo Soane fabric. And a vintage bobbin desk and Cesca chair pairing creates the perfect corner to write, to dream. The overall result: a highly textured, vibrant home that reflects the Sonoma valley and embodies our Clients’ soul.

Intentionally designed by McKenzy Golding of Goldenbird Design.
